The 50th Lombardi Award™, held at the Royal Sonesta in Houston, Texas, was a momentous occasion that left a lasting impression on the 500 guests. This event brought together past winners and finalists, members of the Lombardi family, and other sports celebrities, including the Honorary Chair and Famed Coach Jackie Sherrill. 

A special documentary video was produced to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Lombardi Award™, highlighting the award’s illustrious history and the remarkable individuals who have been honored over the years. Another highlight was the captivating five-sided museum-style piece. This innovative installation showcased the winners, school helmet colors, and program covers from the past 49 years of the prestigious award. In addition to the documentary, a 50-page commemorative program was created, featuring photos of each past winner alongside their award.
