The Texas Star awards which salutes the best in the Texas Event Industry was held at the Hilton Americas-Houston. The evening’s theme was CONFETTI and consisted of three parts. The cocktail reception and dinner were held in one ballroom section and were highlighted by a custom built stage and a plethora of furniture from AFR. The guests and nominees were then directed through a balloon arch to the awards portion of the evening where they sat on eclectic pieces of lounge furniture. After the awards, they went back to same location as the dinner, only this time to find the table setting cleared. They were handed bibs and asked to be seated for the dessert extravaganza. Twelve chefs accompanied by String Music performed a choreographed show ending with a nitrous oxide Bomb of chocolate that broke apart. (video must be watched to truly understand)
